The Ultimate Miami Bachelorette Itinerary

Here are a few must-try activities, restaurants and event venues to include in your Miami Bachelorette or long girls weekend, Outer Boro Broad-style.

Destination bachelorette parties are all the rage these days thanks to a vibrant community of female travelers who want to do something unique and exciting for their last fling before the ring.

So while it might seem like it’s an easy thing to organize, those planning destination bachelorettes need to take into account a variety of factors: lodging, meals, budgets, activities and wellness.

Before you begin to plan, think about the bride and ask her if there are any specific activities, restaurants or things that she wants for her bachelorette weekend, and then plan around that core concept and fill in with things like dancing, yoga, happy hours and excursions.

We recently celebrated my friend Deanna’s bachelorette, and her friend Maria and I crafted the itinerary once we got a headcount of who was coming and for what days they would be attending.

For a long weekend in Miami we did the following:

Booked an AirBNB for roughly 8 girls that was only a 10-minute walk to Collins avenue on the beach and had a kitchen to prepare breakfasts, lunches and our first group dinner in.

Created a shopping list that had all the fixings for a healthy (yet yummy and cost effective) Mexican fiesta for the first night, as well as breakfast items, milk, snacks, complete with sparkling wine and mixers.

Booked a boat rental at Capital Joe’s Boat Rentals that was our bride’s main request. She wanted to sail around Miami with her girlfriends, catching rays and checking out Miami’s luxury real estate.

Took yoga classes through the help of ClassPass at a hot yoga studio at Maham.

Booked a table for Salsa dancing at Ball & Chain when there was a smaller group of us left. We had some cocktails and had locals twirl us around the dance floor to the best salsa music in town.

Big group dinner out we booked the Market at the Edition. It had a variety of food options, many healthy with decent price points as well as spacious tables for larger groups. (Pro tip: have a drink at the outside bar before heading to eat. You’ll love the atmosphere!)

Second dinner out had a farm to table theme at Malibu Farm Miami at the Eden Roc Hotel. It’s also perfect for a goodbye brunch or afternoon casual lunch.

Afternoon leisure activity was a day in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami. We strolled around to see the Walls of Wynwood and had a great fast-casual healthy lunch at My Ceviche.
